CPHRM Exam Prep Course
Track II Program: Offered Wednesday, April 3 - Thursday, April 4
The CPHRM Exam Prep course is designed to help prepare eligible risk management professionals take the exam. While the course is not designed to teach foundational concepts, it can help participants focus on content areas that may require a more in-depth review, as well as identify familiar content areas for which a more cursory review will suffice. The agenda for the course corresponds to the five major content areas of the CPHRM Exam detailed in the CPHRM Candidate Handbook and Application (PDF).

- Legal and Regulatory
- Risk Financing
- Claims and Litigation
- Clinical/Patient Safety
Continuing Education Credit Information
This program is approved for 13 contact hours of continuing education credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow), and toward CPHRM renewal – for those who hold the designation at the time of the program.
Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)
American Society for Health Care Risk Management is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
This program has been approved for 13 credit hours of CNE.
13 hours of on-site application.
You will receive a "Certificate of Attendance" upon completion of the following:
- Full on-site attendance
- Completion of evaluation within 2 weeks

The American Hospital Association's Certification Center determines eligibility requirements, exam content, testing procedures and other aspects of the certification, and oversees the examination process.

CPHRM Exam at ASHRM Academy 2019
The AHA Certification Center is partnering with ASHRM to offer a special administration of the Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification examination on Friday, April 5. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements and have registered to take the exam prior to arriving. The deadline to register to sit for the exam is Tuesday, March 12, 2019.
